A Magical Family Shoot at Pitt Lake
I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing dear friends of mine, the V family, at the stunning Pitt Lake. If you’ve never been there, let me paint a picture for you: it’s like stepping into a dream. Mountains upon mountains fill the horizon, The wide-open space gives way to Pitt River in the distance, and the landscape feels almost too perfect to be real.
The V family—soon to be a family of five—made this shoot extra special. With a little one on the way, there was a beautiful sense of anticipation in the air. You could feel the love between them, like they were already sharing the joy of what’s to come. It was such a joy to capture that! Every glance, every smile, spoke volumes about their excitement for the new chapter ahead.
We spent the evening playing, running, and taking in the magical scenery around us. Pitt Lake is one of those places that naturally sets the mood for a dreamy shoot, but what really brought this session to life was the V family’s warmth and connection.
The combination of the breathtaking backdrop and their glowing, soaking up the last bit of the 4 of them vibes made this session one I won’t forget anytime soon.
